Terms of Use

By accessing or using Eddar, including Eddar Sites and Eddar Explore, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into an agreement to create an account. If you register on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to accept these Terms for that company.

You are responsible for the accuracy of your account details, for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that takes place under your account. Please contact us immediately if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

Eddar provides business and creator profiles that can be published on Eddar Sites and listed on Eddar Explore. You are responsible for the content of your profile, including descriptions, images, contact details, promotions, events and collaborations.

Before publishing, you must confirm that you are the owner of the business or creator profile, or an authorised representative acting with permission. Creating a listing for a business or person you do not represent is not permitted and may lead to removal of the listing and suspension of your account.

• Use Eddar lawfully and respectfully.
• Keep your listing information current and truthful.
• Respond honestly to enquiries received through your profile.
• Ensure you hold any licences or approvals required for your activity in the UAE.

You agree that all information you publish is accurate and not misleading. Eddar does not independently verify every listing and is not responsible for the accuracy of user-submitted content, although we review reported listings.

You retain ownership of the content you upload. By publishing content on Eddar you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, resize and promote that content for the purpose of operating and marketing the platform.

• Content that is unlawful, offensive, discriminatory or misleading.
• Content that infringes copyright, trademarks or other rights.
• Adult content, hate speech, harassment or threats.
• Malware, spam, scraping tools or attempts to disrupt the platform.

Promotions and offers published on your profile must be genuine, currently available and honoured as described. You are solely responsible for fulfilling any promotion, discount code or offer you publish, and for any terms attached to it.

Event details, including dates, venue, pricing and admission requirements, must be accurate. If an event changes or is cancelled, you must update or remove it promptly. Eddar is not the organiser of listed events and is not responsible for ticketing, attendance or refunds.

Collaborations and tags reference other Eddar profiles. You may only tag profiles that you genuinely work with, and you must remove a collaboration if the other party asks you to. Eddar may remove collaborations that appear misleading.

Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or yearly basis in the currency shown at checkout.

Unless cancelled by you before your next renewal date, your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period using your selected payment method, and the applicable subscription fee will be charged automatically.

You may manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your account. If you cancel, your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period, after which it will not renew automatically.

We may update our pricing from time to time. If your subscription price changes, we will provide reasonable notice before the new price takes effect.

We may offer complimentary access periods, such as our Founding Member 7-day complimentary access. Complimentary access carries no obligation to continue. We will let you know before it ends so you can decide whether to subscribe. Listings without an active plan or complimentary period may be unpublished from Eddar Explore.

You may cancel a subscription at any time from your account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and your listing remains available until then.

Cancelling your subscription prevents future renewals only and does not entitle you to a refund for the current billing period.

Eddar provides digital services and subscription-based access. Once a subscription has been activated or renewed, subscription fees are non-refundable, including for partially used billing periods, unused features, or changes of mind.

This policy reflects the nature of digital products and services, where access is granted immediately upon activation.

If you believe you have been charged incorrectly, charged more than once, or experienced a billing error, please contact us at contact@eddar.ae. We will investigate the matter and, where appropriate, correct any verified billing errors in accordance with applicable laws.

The Eddar name, logo, design, software and platform content are owned by Eddar and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify or reuse them without our written permission.

Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

We may review, edit, hide, suspend or remove listings and accounts that breach these Terms or our community guidelines, or that are inactive, misleading, fraudulent or harmful to the community. Where reasonable, we will let you know and give you a chance to correct the issue.

Eddar is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, specific results, enquiries or business outcomes, and we are not a party to any agreement between you and a business, creator or customer you find through the platform.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Eddar is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, including lost profits, lost data or lost business opportunities. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid to Eddar in the twelve months before the claim.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the UAE.

To help maintain a trustworthy and professional platform, all users agree to follow these community guidelines when using Eddar Sites and Eddar Explore.

Users must:

• Publish accurate and truthful information.
• Only create listings they own or are authorised to manage.
• Respect intellectual property and copyright.
• Use logos, images and content they have permission to publish.
• Keep contact details current.
• Ensure promotions, events and offers are accurate.
• Treat other users respectfully.

Users must not:

• Impersonate another business or creator.
• Publish misleading or fraudulent information.
• Upload offensive, illegal or inappropriate content.
• Spam, duplicate or repeatedly create similar listings.
• Use Eddar for unlawful activities.
• Abuse promotions, collaborations or events.
• Attempt to mislead customers.

Eddar reserves the right to:

• Review reported listings.
• Remove or edit content that violates these guidelines.
• Suspend or terminate accounts for repeated or serious violations.
• Remove listings that are inactive, misleading, fraudulent or harmful to the community.

Inactive listings

Eddar may archive, hide or remove listings that remain inactive for an extended period to help keep Eddar Explore accurate and relevant.

These guidelines help maintain a safe and professional experience for everyone using Eddar.
